He has been known for his memorable performances in drama like in the movies “Soltera,” “Nasaan Ka Man” and “La Vida Rosa,” but actor Diether Ocampo has not tried comedy, except in his latest outing, Regal Films’ “Mamarazzi.” The movie, megged by Joel Lamangan, kicks off Regal’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Diether co-stars with today’s most sought-after comedienne Eugene Domingo.
Because he found it a breeze to work with Eugene in a comedy flick, Diether did not think twice about paying lip service to the comedienne and that kissing scene is one of the comic highlights of the film.
Diether values so much Eugene’s support of him, while admiring her professionalism and dedication. “I am really thankful to have been given a chance to work with Eugene in a comedy project,” he said.
Penned by Ricky Lee and Chris Violago, “Mamarazzi” also stars John Lapus, Carla Abellana and Andi Eigenmann in her introductory role as Eugene’s daughter.
