UP grads top list of 338 new chemists



Two graduates from the University of the Philippines (UP) topped the 338 who passed the Chemist Licensure Exams given in Manila this month to 603 examinees, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday.
For the full list of passers' names, please click here. Nathan Carolina from UP Los Banos and Harold Henrison Chiu of UP Manila ranked first among the exam passers, both garnering a score of 92.50 percent in the exams, according to the PRC.
Another graduate from UP Manila, Jan Paulo Zaragoza, was in second place with a score of 92.25 percent.
Other successful examinees who made it to the “Top 10" are:
3rd place, Sharine Noelle Bendulo and Martin Ian Malgapo of UP Diliman – 89.75 percent;
4th, Jennifer Obligacion of UP Diliman – 89.50;
5th, Zakariya Muripaga of the Mindanao State University and Kevin Anthony Sison of UP Manila – 89 percent;
6th, Arianne Christy Bernabe of UP Diliman and Fatima Joy Cruz of UP Manila- 88.50 percent;
7th, Franklin Amandy of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST), Haydee Dalafu of Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) and Kathleen Beverly Pe of UP Diliman – 88.25 percent;
8th, Kim Christopher Aganda of UST, Miguel Carlos Gonzalez of UP Diliman and Cherize Maliksi of UP Diliman – 88 percent;
9th, Karl Patrik Gerard Keith Narvacan of UP Manila and John Hero Salvador of UP Diliman – 87.50 percent; and
10th, Norberto Cabatea of UP Visayas, Elvis Chua of ADMU and Julius Andrew Nunez of UP Manila – 87.25 percent.
Registration for the issuance of professional identification card (ID) and certificate of registration will start on September 15, while oath-taking rites for the exam passers will be held on October 15 in Manila, the PRC said. — LBG, GMANews.TV
