Short of calling the whole brouhaha absurd, if not altogether out of this world, Chiz Escudero denied for the nth time -and with seeming exasperation- filing for annulment of his marriage to his beauteous wife, Christine "Tintin" Flores-Escudero.
The senator vehemently contradicted the buzz posted by entertainment website, STIR.PH, that also linked him to controversial actress-host Kris Aquino.
"Of course not!" he said.
Through the column of editor and TV host Ricky Lo, Escudero warned that he just "might be forced to file charges against the rumormongers who seem to be out to destroy his family."
STIR. PH was quick to claim that Lo "grossly misquoted" the buzz. It published a rejoinder of sorts, bannering their original headline: "BUZZBLAST! Kris caused Chiz-Christine break?" The website twitted Lo for not "grasping the report." The buzz uploaded on Aug. 9 had two sentences: "SEN. CHIZ ESCUDERO filed for annulment with wife CHRISTINE FLORES ESCUDERO this week. The buzz is KRIS AQUINO trigerred the action."
